The main focus of the 10 weeks will be on the Temple the priesthood and the sacrifices of the Torah - the 1st five books of the Old Testament. We will start with learning of the Tabernacle that the Hebrews were commanded to build as God's temporary dwelling until His real House was to be built in Jerusalem. What is the significance of the Tabernacle and how does it help Christians to understand our relationship to God and His Messiah, our Jesus, our Lord? From there we will delve into covenants and then into the sacrifices themselves - the Burnt offering and the Peace offering, the Sin offering etc. What do they have to do with us, with the Church, and with Yeshua (that is Jesus' real Hebrew name). Jesus taught the 2 men on the Emmaeus Road after He rose from the dead. It says in the Gospel of Luke that He showed them Himself in the books of Moses or the Torah. These two young men were so on fire to see Messiah in the Torah. How is Yeshua, Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in the Torah? How is He pictured in the sacrifices? This is our foundation and it is our heritage; Paul told us that we Christians are grafted into the olive tree of Israel. The main focus of the 12 weeks will be on the feasts of Rosh HaShana, Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles (Sukkot) Passover, the Sabbath, and a study of the life of Jesus in His Jewish culture of the 2nd Temple period. Five sessions will be devoted to the history of Israel from 586 B.C. when the Temple was destroyed the 1st time by the Babylonians until 6 B.C. the probable year when Yeshua (Jesus' real Hebrew name) was born. This history will be explosive for the Christian. But, more than that, one can not find pastors or others who teach this history. This is a unique part of the class that the church has dismissed. Without this understanding of this history one simply does not grasp what Jesus was born into and how His words were so deeply related to the issues of His day. All of this comes out of that time period and when studies that time period one gains a deeper view of His times, the New Testament itself, and the endtimes when He will return!!

I want to share with you a new exciting book I read this past week, I have been SMILING everyday since I started reading it. It's a very good book. The book is 272 pages, with lots of great footnote (rare meat for me) in truth ever page of this book is a real GEM. As I finished the last chapter of the book last evening, I had a vision in my mind of a light wooden church pew in front of me, and on the backside were a bible, a hymnal, and one of these books for people to read. If only every Christian would read it was my thought to the Lord. I believe it would help them SEE You in Your true Jewish setting.
I'm praying this book will impact many many people for the Lord, Jews and Gentile alike.
Now, to tell you the truth I knew almost everything in this book about Rabbi Jesus; I have been teaching this kind of stuff for over 19 years
It was a delight to me to see how well Spangler and Lois laid out everything in this book; really it moved me to tears. I think the Christian world at large has been waiting for this book, yes, I know it has...! So anyone who wants to KNOW their HEBREW Lord Yeshua (Jesus), should read this book.

I promise you, you will gain a much deeper understanding of God by seeing Yeshua in His own world.
